Swim!

With my passion for the waters, I love to go for a swim. This became my regular routine to keep me physically fit. Now my complexion suffers (LOL).
This is one of the best forms of exercise: cardio, flexibility, coordination, endurance, more...
I love this pool during rainy days, there's less people thus, less pool traffic. ;-P

weekend of everything that flies.

12TH HOT AIR BALLOON FIESTA
Clark, Pampanga

There are a number of things to do. Number 1 is to have fun
Take a picture of you and your friends' shadow.
Take a picture cheek to cheek with the missiles.
Take a picture with the planes at the background.
Ride a boat.
Watch from afar as they inflate the balloons that did not really flew coz of the wind.
Pose with the sniper ammunition and pretend to fire.
Watch celebrities perform onstage. You missed Ara Mina!
Watch them play with fire and spend energy.

Watch people fly kites, learn to fly a kite and fly a kite.

Or ride a tank or a jeep. eat at the booths, have a temporary tattoo, buy something, stroll and do anything as slong as it is allowed. But don't forget to have fun!!!

This happens only once a year, usually in February.

butterflies

Butterflies inside the mall...
I wonder if animal rights people also have something to say about them.

pet olympics

Was just in time for Beijing Olympics 2008, these pets are prepared for their own competition against pain thru the non-steroidal antiinflammatory drug advertised by these photos.
This was actually taken from a large poster and just cropped to smaller pictures.

crocs...

I'm not paid to promote this place in EDSA Shangri-La. It's just that, during one of the staff meetings and product presentation, we went here. Guess what, these tiny reptiles got our attention and we took the opportunity for a photo-op.
Meet them! the tiny reptiles inside the aquarium, not Carlo! heheh peace tayo!
Meet me and my colleagues. Five of more than 30.
It was actually my birthday when we went here.

Taal

Have you been to Tagaytay? Have you seen the Taal Lake and the Taal Volcano?
I have been there a couple of times but I haven't really explored the place. There are so many things to do there: trekking and hiking, horseback-riding, picnics, sight-seeing, ukay-ukay. LOLz

Puerto Galera

Again, with my love for water, the beach and the like... this is taken fron several locations in Puerto Galera, Philippines. A well-known vacation spot among Filipinos and foreigners alike.
When traveling to Puerto Galera, you need to take a motorized boat from Batangas Pier and where the boat takes you is dependent on the route of the boat you ride, or your actual destination.
Checking the net, there are a number of resorts available for tourists and they do also offer pick up and travel assistance once you get to the island as long as you contact them in advance and give all the details. Though, you can just walk around the area and you'll find a place to stay beach front. just a little patience and charm is needed for that.
Cost of living is more expensive than eveything in the mainland. Of course you have to anticipate that! This is a tourist spot and people nedds to make a living. Aside from that, they still need to get their supplies from the mainland and travel is actually hassle. I wonder how it's like during the rainy stormy seasons.
Night life and shopping is also readily available. During peak season, expect lots of tourists and concerts from various artists from Manila.

What's more enjoyable is renting a boat for the day to take you to different beaches aside from what is already infront of you. You can also do snorkeling. How about some hiking and mountain climbing... sure why not!
This is Talipanan falls up in the mountain...

BIG MAC

I'm a fan.

the beach!!!

I always loved the water; the beach, the pool, the river, the creek. As long as it's clean, I can bask in it or I can swim on it, it'll do. It's one of the place in the planet I'll go to whether I am home or abroad.

This picture was taken on a cloudy day when I visited Japan in the summer of 2008. Several people were camping on the shore and spending their day there.

Noticing that no matter how highly industrialized the country is, and how many establishments are positioned near or on their waters, they still can keep the area free from pollution. Just notice how many boats and yacths are there and zero litter.
